The Dissertation consists of four different phases:

 

1. Identify the differences between HiP-HOPS and ISO 26262 approach to Fault Tree Analysis, mainly how safety mechanisms are mapped in FTA and how they influence safety calculations - 1 month

2. Propose ways to change HiP-HOPS to support hardware verification procedures of ISO 26262 - 1,5 months

3. Develop a case study to validate the proposed approach - 1,5 months

4. Prepare the report and the final presentation - 1 month
